COMMUNITY LITTLE HULTON - HOME pAGE
CommUNITY Little Hulton was set up by local Little Hulton residents as a legacy organisation of Little Hulton Big Local with aims to sustain and develop the Youth Unity Youth Club, develop a permanent community hub within Peel Park Little Hulton and to continue to develop activities and services to enhance the community’s wellbeing.
CommUNITY Little Hulton’s mission is to inspire today’s youth and to bring the community together to enhance everybody’s wellbeing.
We registered with the Charity Commission on 14 June 2019 and held a community launch event in September 2019.
Since then we have been working on a number of projects to develop Peel Park in Little Hulton including working on a project to develop a new bike track and a project to develop Peel Park Pavilion as a permanent community hub for Little Hulton.
In response to the Covid-19 pandemic the charity has focused its time and resources on ensuring we stay connected with our young people and that people in need in the community have access to food and other essentials.

We have continued to work hard to support our community during uncertain times and adapted to government restrictions while still being able to provide food, group activities and packages for our most vulnerable.
The Future
We have worked hard to ensure Peel Park Pavilion is a Covid-19 safe venue to be able to offer activities for our young people and want to thank Domestic Lifestyle Management Ltd for donating two hours cleaning a week.
Work with Adults
Lots of activities designed to help adults stay connected and reduce social isolation have had to close during the pandemic. We want to continue to find ways to help people stay connected in this social distanced time and when thing do move forward to help people have the confidence to reconnect with their community.
The Bike Track
In 2021 we have seen the development of a new Bike Track on Peel Park.
The project was recently featured in the Manchester Evening News

The Pavilion
We are still dreaming big - we have put our plans to extend the pavilion in for planning permission and we plan to continue to develop this project in the future.

tHE vision of the future
We are working on plans for the Pavilion at the park. We have already developed a new bike track and now we need residents and partners to help us make this vision come alive and turn the pavilion into a community centre for all ages and families to enjoy.
